Your questions, answered honestly

If your company has introduced eve & ai, you probably have two questions: is it really private, and what is the catch. Fair questions. Here are the answers.

Can my employer see what I say?

No. Your employer never sees your conversations, your mood entries, whether you booked a counselling session, or whether you even use the app. They see anonymous totals only, like "engagement in the operations department rose this quarter", and nothing at all for groups small enough that anyone could be identified. This is a designed and enforced rule, not a promise; the full technical position is on our trust page.

Is it free for me?

Yes. Your employer pays for the platform and for a pool of counselling sessions. Booking a counsellor draws from that shared pool. You do not pay, and you do not need anyone's permission or sign off to book.

What actually happens when I open the app?

You get a private space with an AI companion you can talk to at any hour, in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tamil, Nepali or Bengali. There are short exercises for stress and sleep, a mood journal if you want one, and a button to book a real counsellor when talking to a person matters. Nothing you do there is visible to your workplace.

Will using it affect my job?

Your employer cannot factor in what they cannot see, and they cannot see anything about your individual use. Nothing about your account reaches your manager, HR, or your personnel file.

What if I tell the AI something serious?

If a conversation suggests you might be at risk of harm, the app stops being a chatbot. It offers you a route to a human straight away and shows crisis lines for your country. That escalation goes to our care team, who are bound by confidentiality; it does not go to your employer.

What happens to my data if I leave the company?

Your account is yours, not your employer's. If you want your data deleted, ask us at any time, from within the app or by emailing hello@eveand.ai, and it is done within seven days.

My company does not offer this. Can I use it anyway?

Yes. Kai is our free personal tier. No employer involved at all.

Still unsure? That is reasonable.

Trust is earned, not announced. Read the full privacy position, or start with something small in the app and see how it feels.
